1. Packing cubes are fantastic! You will be able to squeeze in more clothes, keep your bag or case tidy and your clothes organised. I bought mine for £5.99 on amazon they come in all different colours and sizes. The set below Includes 3 packing cubes and 3 laundry bags. If you do not want a set you can also buy individual cubes for around £1 (try the pound shop) however I do recommend the set below they are perfect and have 2 zips so if one happens to burst you will still be able to zip your cube.

2. Liquid washing capsules – most hostels and Air BnB’s will have washing machines however most of them do not provide washing powder or charge you to use it so keeping laundry capsules in your luggage is really handy. They are perfect for travelling and easy to pack. Mostly all supermarkets sell them, they cost around £3-£5 and most do 20 washes.

3. Waterproof toiletry bag – everyone hates packing toiletries incase they burst and ruin your luggage so buying a waterproof toiletry bag is ideal. You can buy these from pretty much anywhere, we bought ours from primark for £4 and it has hanging hooks to hang the bag in the shower which is handy.

4. Cable organiser – travelling with lots of cables can become annoying because they end up all tangled or broken, a cable organiser will keep your cables tidy and organised. The one below is £6 from amazon however you can get them cheaper so shop around.

5. Microfibre towels– I never usually pack a towel when I’m going abroad because they take up so much space and add extra weight to your luggage however when travelling you will definitely need one. Microfibre towels are great because they are light and easy to fit in your bag. The microfibre material does not stick to the sand and drys really fast when wet. We paid £15.99 for our set on amazon, it comes with 2 large towels and 1 travel bag.

7. Lightweight jacket– sometimes it can get cold and might rain so it’s always a good option to have a hooded jacket with you. I bought a super lightweight jacket from primark for £15 it comes with a packaway bag and a foldable hood. I hang mine on the clips of my rucksack or over my suitcase handle so it’s easy to reach if I happen to need it.

8. My favourite tip – the fragrance wipe. Take a fresh baby wipe or face wipe leave it to dry for around 30 minutes once it’s dry spray your favourite aftershave or perfume on both sides of the wipe and then pop it in your laundry bag. This will keep your laundry bag smelling good until you get the chance to clean it. I also pop one inside our towel bag to keep our towels smelling fresh.
